Award winning portrait photographer Carol Lara has risen to the top of her industry. Based in St. Louis, her portraits have won Best of Show in the show: Life in Motion at Manchester Arts, The Award of Excellence for the show: Driven to Abstraction at Soulard Art Gallery, Visitors Choice at The Old Orchard Art Gallery in Webster Groves and 2nd Place in the FOCUS Photography Exhibition. Her fine art portraits have also been sold all around the city to fine art collectors that appreciate her self-described style of “Grace and Grit”. A multi-passionate entrepreneur, she believes strongly that people should live their most creative life. She has been featured in St. Louis Magazine, Fox 2 in the morning, was nominated as Emerging Business of the Year at the Adelante Awards 2016, a featured speaker at “The Art of a Woman” at the International Photography Hall of Fame in 2017, featured in En Contacto Magazine for her passion & ability to inspire and was a featured speaker for the STL Young Women’s Conference in March 2018.
